Delete your atriolo account

If you no longer want to use atriolo, you can permanently delete your account and most of your data. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your information.

atriolo is operated by the atriolo support team. If you have questions about the deletion process, email hello@atriolo.com before deleting your account — we can help you understand exactly what will happen.

How to delete your account

You can request account deletion in two ways. Both result in the same outcome.

Option 1 — From inside the atriolo app (recommended)

Open the atriolo app on your phone.
Sign in with the account you want to delete.
Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
Tap Edit Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account.
Confirm twice. The first confirmation explains what will happen. The second confirmation triggers the deletion.

The deletion runs immediately. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.

Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have the app)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email hello@atriolo.com from the email address tied to your atriolo account. Include:

Your account email
The phrase “Please delete my atriolo account” in the subject or body
(Optional) The reason — this helps us improve, but it is not required

We will verify the request and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when it is complete.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following information is removed or anonymized:

Your profile name, email, phone number, address, and password are scrambled. Your account is no longer accessible by you or anyone else.
Photos and documents you uploaded under your account are deleted from atriolo’s storage.
Maintenance requests, expenses, and other personal records filed under your account are deleted, except where they are part of a shared property history (see “What is retained” below).
Your device tokens for push notifications are deleted, so you will no longer receive notifications.
Your two-factor authentication factors are removed.
Your Sentry crash and performance reports linked to your user ID are eligible for deletion under Sentry’s data retention controls; you can request deletion of these directly from Sentry if needed.

What is retained, and why

Some information is retained for legitimate reasons, in anonymized form:

Anonymized references in shared records. If you sent messages, filed maintenance requests, or made other contributions to a property that other users also belong to, those records remain visible to those other users so the property’s history is intact. Your name on those records is replaced with “Deleted User” and your email is replaced with a non-resolving placeholder.
Property ownership transfers. If you owned a property and another user is mid-way through accepting a transfer, that transfer is allowed to complete. After the transfer, your role on that property is removed.
Anonymized billing and tax records (if you used atriolo as a contractor and had a billing profile) may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and accounting requirements. These records do not contain your personal name or contact information after deletion.
Backup retention. atriolo’s backend (Supabase) retains automated backups for up to 30 days. After 30 days, your data is no longer recoverable from any backup.

How long the process takes

In-app deletion: immediate. Your account is anonymized within seconds. Backup purge completes within 30 days.
Email deletion request: processed within 30 days from when we verify the request. Backup purge completes within 30 days after that.
